Gallträsk is around 12 hectares with an average depth of 1.5 meters. The surroundings are Grankulla’s popular recreation area, with a dirt road that runs around almost the entire lake. In the southeast, the trail runs a bit along the Kavallvägen. The trail is about 1.8 kilometers long. The trail is accessible, i.e. there are no steps.
The lake’s chemical-physical condition and aquatic vegetation are examined and managed regularly in accordance with a preliminary investigation and management plan 2021-2030 approved by the social engineering committee.
